SCIENCE @ THE PORT

Our platform enables unique science experimentation is space so that you can make novel discoveries and manufacture unique products in space without having to be a rocket scientist. Make the next big discovery in space!

ARK_bg02blankWhite_BC_v01.jpg

We offer science mission resources and strategic partnerships to effectively navigate the unique challenges associated with research on The Port. We offer end to end scientific management of missions, and can get you there in as fast as 90 days.

The unique weightlessness of objects in space reveals a number of physical phenomena that are not observed naturally on Earth, presenting previously unimaginable and highly-valuable opportunities for scientists, innovators, and entrepreneurs to pursue revolutionary breakthroughs.

PAYLOAD HOSTING

Payload hosting is an ideal alternative to satellite launch and development, allowing for rapid in-space evaluation of concepts and technology in as fast as 90 days from idea to the Port. The Port include reduces overall programmatic costs and risk as well as reducing complexity.

RESEARCH

Arkisys has simplified the spacecraft interface to complex research hardware with in-space payload integration hardware platform called the Appliqué, so that you can focus on making novel discoveries and manufacturing unique products in space without having to be integration experts.

MANUFACTURING

The Port environment enables truly novel manufacturing in microgravity. For example, the formation of an alloy’s structure to be driven by diffusion, rather than traditional gravity-driven sedimentation is quite compelling. The Port enables manufacturing of materials and other products that is not possible under the influence of gravity.
